SpagnolCucine: Italian Kitchens with Family Tradition Since 1968

SpagnolCucine Italian kitchens represent the union of more than half a century of family tradition with modern production technologies. From a carpentry workshop in the basement of a family home in Veneto to today's internationally recognized manufacturer of premium kitchens – this is a story that proves quality and family values never go out of style.

The Beginnings: From Family Carpentry to Modern Factory

In the small town of Mosnigo di Moriago in the province of Treviso – the heart of Italian furniture industry – brothers Mario and Antonio Spagnol began their story in 1968 like many other Italian family businesses: with craftsmanship inherited from their father and grandfather, big ambitions, and little space.

The year 1968 marked the beginning. In the basement of their family home, they started producing their first pieces of furniture. The quality of their work and reputation spread quickly – already in the 1970s they had to buy their first real workshop and began employing other craftsmen, many of whom stayed with the company for decades.

By the 1980s, Spagnol Gruppo Industriale (originally also known as Spagnol Group) had achieved the position of a significant player in the Italian market. The philosophy was clear from the beginning: to produce quality furniture at reasonable prices, 100% Made in Italy.

Growth and Production Diversification

Gradually the company grew and expanded its portfolio. Under one roof, various specialized divisions were born:

  • SpagnolMobili – furniture for bedrooms, children's rooms and living rooms
  • SpagnolCucine – kitchens (first designs already in 1987, formally a division in the 90s)
  • SpagnolSalotti – upholstered furniture, specialization in leather collections
  • SpagnolContract – custom projects for hotels and commercial spaces
  • Other divisions dedicated to bathrooms, office furniture and classic style

In 2018, when the group celebrated its 50th anniversary, it managed seven production facilities with more than one hundred and fifty employees.

Generational Transformation of the Family Business

After Antonio Spagnol's death in 2013, the second generation took over the leadership. Instead of maintaining a complex holding structure, the family opted for the typical Italian model of generational transformation: each division gradually became an independent company with its own management, but always with the original DNA and values of the Spagnol group.

The Birth of Modern SpagnolCucine

In February 2023, the kitchen division was formally established as an independent company SpagnolCucine S.r.l. under the leadership of Silvan Spagnol from the second generation.

Continuity is evident: The company continues in the same factory in Vidor. It employs the same craftsmen who have worked with the Spagnol family for decades. It maintains the same philosophy of quality and Made in Italy.

Innovation is new: As an independent company, SpagnolCucine was able to massively invest in modernization. Solar panels were installed on the factory roof. Production lines were upgraded to the most modern technologies. The material portfolio was enriched with innovative surfaces such as Fenix nanotech, ceramic slabs and composite materials.

Production Today: Where Spagnol Italian Kitchens Are Made

The Vidor factory covers an extensive production area specialized in kitchens. Computer-controlled production lines produce hundreds of kitchen elements daily, but manual finishing work – where human touch makes the difference – remains preserved.

Kitchen Collections: From Modern Minimalism to Classic

Modern collections like Vivere Italia and Maryland offer minimalist design, handleless systems, a wide range of lacquered and laminated surfaces, multifunctional solutions connecting the kitchen with the living area.

Classic collections like Louisiana, Tabià or Avenue 23 combine traditional craftsmanship details with modern functionality – oak in various shades, post-industrial aesthetics, timeless design.

Material Possibilities

  • Doors: Solid wood, veneers, laminates, lacquered surfaces, glass, aluminum
  • Worktops: Natural and artificial stone, composites, ceramics, wood, stainless steel
  • Innovative surfaces: Fenix nanotech, HPL laminates, Dekton

Global Presence of SpagnolCucine Italian Kitchens

Today SpagnolCucine exports to more than 40 countries. International sales are growing rapidly – especially in France, Belgium, Germany, the Middle East and India. In the competitive Italian kitchen market, SpagnolCucine has built a position in the mid-premium quality segment: more accessible than top luxury, but with a clear focus on design quality, materials and Made in Italy authenticity.

Veneto: The Region Where Quality Italian Furniture Is Born

The province of Treviso is number one in Italy in furniture export value – thousands of companies, tens of thousands of employees, billions of euros in annual turnover. The Sinistra Piave area has been the historical center of Italian furniture since the 1950s. Know-how concentrated across generations, suppliers who understand quality, craftsmen whose families have been working with wood for decades.

Our Journey with Spagnol: From Friendship to Partnership

Our relationship with the Spagnol family began in 1999 – not as a business deal, but as a personal friendship. With the transformation of the group and the birth of the independent SpagnolCucine, this long-standing partnership was formalized: DWORAK s.r.o. is today the official general representation of the SpagnolCucine brand in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Authenticity Notice: Although there may be smaller importers or companies using similar names (including references to the historical Spagnol Group), only our company DWORAK s.r.o. has exclusive representation, direct manufacturer support and complete service for the SpagnolCucine brand in the Czech and Slovak markets.

The Story Continues

From a garage workshop of two brothers in 1968, a modern manufacturer with international presence was born. SpagnolCucine today represents the best of the Italian approach to furniture: respect for tradition combined with the courage to innovate. Craftsmanship quality meets modern technologies. Family values intertwine with professional management and global vision.
